Delete a user via API

Hi

I am trying to delete former colleagues from our alteryx server via the Alteryx Server API.

It works for some, but not all user. 

I've read about the bug in former versions, but I am using 2023.2.1.308, where this shouldnt persist. 

Anyone able to help with this or shed some light on my persistent issue?

depends on your issue. 

You need to remove the user from all collections, data connections, and user groups they belong to before you'll be able to delete them. That's the most common issue we run into it. Once we have removed the user from all of these, we can delete them (which really keeps the user record but changes some fields to "deleted_user" basically. 

The user will still have a "subscription" listed even after they are deleted.
