Enable horizontal mouse scroll on workflow canvas and results pain

As a user of Designer and an owner of a Logitech MX mouse, I'd like to be able to use the thumb scroll wheel for horizontal scrolling across the canvas, and across the contents of the results pane. I can scroll vertically now using the scroll wheel between the buttons, but I'd like to go both ways (like I can in Excel :-) )
