Dynamic Input Tool getting header but not data

Sometime the most basic things flummox me!! I have used this tool for years and it's in nearly every single one of our workflows but I'm stumped. For the template I'm linking in my Dynamic Input tool, I can see the data in my preview, but when I run the workflow, it's not pulling in. See screen shot. I think I've got the file extensions right, and I've tried it with "First Row Contains Data" checked and unchecked. I've tried it with "Start Data Import on Line" to '1' and '2' and no combo seems to work. I'm working with test data so my first row is the header/fields and I have only one row of test date on the second line. Help, please?

Can you attach your workflow, template, and dummy data? I'm sure we can lend a helping hand, but having what you're looking at would be helpful. -Jay

@katherinetdavitaTry changing the directory tool path extension from *.* to *.xlsx, which only returns the .xlsx file, and feed the full path to the dynamic input tool. You also need to provide the sheet name along with the full path.

it "*.xlsx" not "*.xlsx*", this will included the ".xlsx.bak" file.

can you confirm what return in the sample tool. when you select the first 1.
check fullpath and filename to confirm it load the right file and right extension.

Corrected to "*.xlsx" and I've tried the sample tool with FullPath and FileName selected and unselected, and still no data.

I have no idea where I went wrong, but I ended up just rebuilding from scratch and now it's working. Thanks for the effort to help me resolve!
