ELSEIF Function not working properly

Hi all,

I've created the following function to further categorize my case status values, but my results are only showing the values OPEN or CLOSED. I'm unsure why this is. I thought the order was correct and the other closed values would be populated based on their placement in the function, but that hasn't been the case. Open to any suggestions.

ELSEIF Contains([Claim#], 'Closed') then "CLOSED"
ELSEIF Contains([Claim#], ' Settled') then "CLOSED-SETTLED"
ELSEIF Contains([Claim#], ' No Pay') then "CLOSED-NO PAY"
ELSEIF Contains([Claim#], ' Dismissed') then "CLOSED-CASE DISMISSED"

It will go in order from top to bottom, so if Contains([Claim#], 'CLOSED') is true, then it will be marked as such and the others will not be checked!

You could also consolidate your two lines of Closed THEN Closed by using UPPER() or LOWER() functions to ensure the logic is being considered in the same way.

Contains(Lower([Claim#]), 'closed') THEN 'closed'
