Designer login Account locked/stuck - Unable to log in with local account

Question

Hello! I typically log into Alteryx designer under my local machines account (literally just double click to open it, no credentials set).

I recently right-clicked and ran Designer as another user to create a DCM account under a service account.

The problem is, i can't switch my login back to my local machines account. Every time i login it sticks with that service account login.

Has anyone seen this issue before? Would really appreciate any help here :)

Can you try deactivating your Alteryx license first, then reactivate it using an admin account and test again? If that doesn’t work, you might need to reinstall Alteryx Designer.

You can ignore the DCM comment - it was just the reasoning behind why i was logging into designer with two separate accounts!

Basically i logged into designer with one account, and now i want to change back to my main login account but its not letting me switch.

Hi, I'm a bit confused. When you mentioned a different account under DCM, are you referring to opening Alteryx with a different user profile, or using different DCM credentials within Alteryx?
