Append fileds tool error

Question

Hi Gurus,

I had a sharepoint input macro, which pull data from Sharepoint site, one of the append fields tool output starts to display many unnecessary columns , as in the picture below:

I've updated Alteryx Designer to 2025 version, and updated Sharepoint connector too. The workflow runs without any error in 2023 version.

These unnecessary columns impacted on the workflow running time a lot, took an average of 10 mins to finish the macro itself only.

At the moment I have unselected these fileds, but is there an option to delete the unnecessary columns?

I checked the input before the tool, couldn't see those columns, they're like popped out of nowhere.

If it is still popping up, you could try adding a data cleansing tool to remove the unnecessary columns before any process. Hopefully this will improve the performance

These columns are popping up at "SharePoint input" tool output or at the append tool that you mentioned? A screenshot of the flow inside macro will also help in understanding.

If it is happening at SharePoint tool, then you can do as @aatalai mentioned.

@louyang would using the named range work? (assuming it is the same area each time)?
