Analytic App - question not saving on Workflow tab

Hi All.

I am trying to use the Configuration / workflow tab to direct the analytic app to ask the question required. I have updated the text box to pick up the question from within the Constants table on the workflow, but for some reason I can't get the question to save. I have tried saving as soon as I have entered it, but every time I come out of the workflow tab, the question resets to Text Box (2).

Does anyone know why this is and what I need to do to get the question to remain.

Rename the tool:

Select the Text input tool, change its annotation Name in tool settings. This will automatically change the name in configuration.

What you are trying to do is reverse, which will not work because configuration is a reference to a tool, and it cannot change tool name/annotation.

But bigger question is: Why design it this way? What are you trying to do? Why a constant? Wouldn't it be better for it to be a drop down of Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and let users key in the year?

Thank you! I was renaming the text input tool rather than the text box, It works now :-)
