Error: Dynamic Input : No table chosen; Please select a Table from data source.

Getting this error in reading xls file at dynamic input formula .

erroe in reading xls file - Error: Dynamic Input (74): Error opening table: Microsoft JET Database Engine: 'Sheet2$' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation.

Sometime it gives this error also .

Any solution this , Also FYI we are version 2025.1 .

@Sanskriti22 I think Alteryx 2025.1 has deprecated legacy support for .xls (Excel 97-2003 format) when using older data engines like Microsoft JET — and it may not reliably open .xls files anymore, especially through the Dynamic Input tool. You need to convert the .xls to .xlsx then process it
