Can anybody guide me on new Salesforce output tool

Question

Hello Folks,

I am doing a small POC for data Migration from custom CRM to Salesforce CRM. I have completed all the transformation in Designer (version: 2022). Only part left is import in salesforce. There are two ways I can do that - one is by using Salesforce Connector output tool and other is using Salesforce Data Loader. I am new to Alteryx and Salesforce.

* Which one I have to opt and why?
* Is there a way I can customize batch size in salesforce connector output tool, like Data Loader?
* How can I handle timezone using salesforce output tool like Data Loader?

I can only see limited configuration for Salesforce output tool .

you are correct as salesforce data connector has limited options both of them have there pros and cons

Use the Salesforce Connector Output Tool if:
You want a quick and easy way to send data from Alteryx directly into Salesforce.
Your data migration isn’t too large or complicated.

Use Salesforce Data Loader if:
You’re handling a lot of data or need more control (like setting batch sizes or advanced error handling).
You’re okay with exporting your data from Alteryx first (like to a CSV file) and then loading it into Salesforce separately.
