Open output file even when it is open on another system

Hi,

I have an alteryx workflow and it's output would be saved in shared drive which multiple people can access.

Is there a way to make it such that even if someone has the output file open on their system, others can open it too.

I saw somewhere if you use text box, take action and directory tools it can be done.

Any help is appreciated.

Please share this article with us that says you can have an output file open in multiple places using a Text Box. 

Otherwise we’ll need more information - what file extension are you outputting to? Where are you outputting to? What is the error you are seeing when multiple people try to open it?
