Engine API license

Hi everyone. I'm running Alteryx Designer 2024.1.

I was trying to use the AlteryxEngineCmd.exe from the commandline but I was informed that I'll need the Engine API license.

Run Workflows via Command Line (alteryx.com)

Am I required to run an Alteryx Server in order to use the AlteryxEngineCmd.exe or can I just purchase the 'Engine API' license for my Alteryx Designer?

The Alteryx Server is an overkill for my environment.

Appreciate your advice.

you need to have
Alteryx Server license or Alteryx scheduler license
there is no separate Engine Api license

Can the schedule license be applied to the Alteryx Designer so that I do not need to deploy a server?

How to do this in Alteryx One

Not sure about Alteryx One, but I was able to use the AlteryxEngineCmd once I have the automation license.
