Hello,

Here is the requirement: One of my jobs is running in the mainframe technology, and once job completed, the Alteryx Workflow Scheduler should start and extract the report.  How do I check the job status and start the Alteryx job? any input is appreciated

You might need another app that will trigger Alteryx, such as Power Automate.

Alteryx Schedule is based on date and time. You can schedule all Alteryx to check a folder every hour/day/once a week and if there will be a file the automation will process it.

But to trigger based on event you will need an external app.
