Prior Date Formula or Filter for Report...

Question

I have built a workflow with two date columns; Lease Date Begin and Lease Date End.  I need to generate a report two ways (all dates) which I have done; but now I need prior or last month leases.  In excel this is an easy filter selection; have not found a clean or easy way with the date filter.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  See screen shot attached.

If I'm guessing correctly...... check out the example for the Generate Rows tool, under Preparation.  I "think" you need to generate new rows for every date between your Begin and End date?

I have read through the DateTimeFunction, however, none of it makes sense.

I have two date columns that exist in my workflow; Lease Begin Date and Lease End Date; I need all leases Beginning 08/01/2024 to 08/31/2024.  I have tried a dozen ways of writing the formula and cannot seem to get it to work.  Between, greater, lesser, contains etc...

The two lease date columns are part of the client data we audit for two months we run an audit on prior month, the third month we run a full (all) lease date audit.  Full audits require no lease date filtering but prior month audits do.

Aug we ran prior for July; Sept we are running prior for Aug, and Oct will be all.  Nov will be prior for Oct, etc

The first part of my workflow has cleaned, filtered, calculated and parsed the data created the output files for full (all) leases.  I am trying to add a second output that will produce the prior month output by filtering the Lease Begin Date for leases between x and x.  that is where I am having issues.  Nothing I have tired is giving the expected outcome.
