Error: Output Data (113): Unable to open file for write:......another process(32)

Hello,

i am keep having this issue while trying to get my output in multiple tab into same output file. i am using block until done to input 11 different table into sheet1 from same union tool. then i am trying to output from another input file into sheet2 but i am keep getting this error message. issue is either first table from sheet1 or output data into sheet2 is not updating. some time first table from sheet1 and sometimes sheet2 is not updating.  seems like first table from sheet1 and data on sheet2 trying to download into my output file at the same time. how can hold sheet 2 until sheet 1 is done. please note i am using block until done six times to populate data into specific cell and line for sheet1(based on template). i can't use control container because of block until done.

Oh, yup, I see that in the picture now!

I'm not sure if you're able to download and install the CReW macros, but they have a "Parallel Block Until Done" tool. Alteryx is adding the CReW macros to Alteryx Marketplace (since it looks way less sketchy than downloading some random files from a random site named "Chaos Reigns Supreme", ha) but I don't think PBUD is on there yet.

That's what I used before I was on 2023.1 with Control Containers to properly block Sheet2 from writing until Sheet1 was done.

yes i already used option 2 connect one BUD but into another BUD but still having this issue. sheet2 is coming from different input file

Could you get rid of all of the Block Until Dones so that way you can use Control Containers?

I think another option is to have a BUD feed into another BUD and then have that output go to your Output. I was complaining about the BUD tool at last year's Inspire and someone told me that's a way to get around the error you're seeing.
