Analytical App Dropdown

Hi!

I'm a bit stuck.

We want to use the analytic app tool to select a user from our Excel vacation master list (on the left of the workflow).
Depending which user is selected in the dropdown, it will run a specific formula located in the containers.

Any help with type of set up would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too familiar with the interface tools, yet.

In my opinion the easiest way to do something like this is to have a designation in your file or creating on in Alteryx and then using a filter tool and applying the app to the filter tool. For instance if Beth, Bill, and Bob are designated "Formula 1" the filter tool uses that field to filter by the formula and if true send to one Formula tool you want. If false, then it send it to the other. This lowers the amount of tools needed and you won't have to mess with opening an closing containers. Hope that helps.
