Dynamic file path

Hi alteryx community, 

I am currently working on a method that can automatically change the file path of my output data tools when the file is moved. My workflow has multiple output data tools so it takes a while to change each one when the file is moved to a different path. This would allow the file path to be automatically updated when the file is moved instead of having to manually change the file path in each output data tool in my workflow. Does anyone know a way that I can do this?

@AlD324  This will depend a bit on how you want to determine what the output path should be. If it is based on the input filepath(s) below is a good method. Otherwise please provide more detail so we can give you a better solution.

1. Use a field info tool to get the source of your input data.

2. Append the source filepath to your workflow. (Modify as needed)

3. Use the take file/tab name from field option of the output data tool.
