Cannot change existing dataset in PowerBI

Hi,

I'm trying to overwrite /append a dataset in PowerBI with the PowerBI Output Tool (v3.4.0).

When I'm trying to do so,I get the following error.

Personally, I think this happens because it is not possible to do the table mapping, see below. Has anyone any idea how to fix this.

Maybe you can try to reset the connection in your pipeline and remap the tables again. Also, check if there is any policy block between Alteryx and Power BI. If this helps, feel free to like the comment

no success with modifying the XML so far; @rbgruwel if what you "hardcoded" could be copied and pasted into this thread that would be helpful also! I have been trying a variety of different things underneath this part of the XML, such as adding #1:[table name here] but none have succeeded

hello, following up on this post- I have the same errors, and the same inability to complete the Table Mapping within the configuration window. Manually typing the table name into Table Mapping does not work either. Is there another solution I could attempt? I'll see if I can modify the XML of the ymxd file as suggested, but agree this doesn't seem like an intended solution so hopefully there's another way
