We are currently in the process of initiating a new engagement with one of our clients where we shall deploy Alteryx Server on client's cloud environment (Azure cloud) for a complete data analytics solution.
As part of the discussion talks, there are several queries rasied by client's IT and security team that need to prompt addressal.
- Security architecture of the application including connectivity/configuration integration with client SAP system or any other landscape
- Security aspects of the application(latest VA/PT closure report and certificate, external audit report)
- What client data will Alteryx fetch/process/store and how data security is assured
- BCP aspects for this application ( Backup, recovery, RTO, RPO etc.)
- In case there is any breach/compromise of Alteryx application at their end, what is the liability and accountability of Alteryx.
