Conversion of String to Negative

Question

Hi,
I am trying to convert the following strings ( -34,-45,-76) to integer
The select tool is showing error "-34 is not recognized"

And I tried to replace "-"

IF Contains([Min Temp1], "-") THEN
Replace([Min Temp1],"-",' ')

ELSE ([Min Temp1])

ENDIF

Output = ?34 , ?45.....

this should solve the issue
