Selecting Rows between two variables and dates

Question

Hi Team,

Hope you are well.

I need help. I have to select the data based on the below conditions

First step

1) [start date] between "2022-01-20" and "2022-02-20" AND  [END DATE] "2022-01-20" and "2022-02-20"

Second step

2) Create a flag based on the conditions if the [date1] < [date2]

Please let me know how to go about this,
