Alteryx Server Teradata ODBC Error

Hi All,

I have a workflow that runs successfully in the desktop designer application and sends an email as an output. The workflow has in-database tools that are connected to a Teradata data source called TESTPROD. I have set this data source up on the server (I believe I have set this up correctly). However when I try to save the workflow to the server I get the validation error "Tool 1 - Error finding connection "TESTPROD" ".

Any idea as to why I am getting this error and what the most probable cause is?

Hi @markkennedy3 ,

Based on your explanation, the issue is probably related to your server not having access to the DSN you created on your own machine.

You need to ask your Alteryx Server admin to configure the ODBC connection exactly like you did in your ODBC admin or ask him to create a Gallery connection and share it with you.

It is also very important to have the same version of the ODBC driver so you don`t have version issues.
