Mapping Tile Controller cant be disabled

hi

we are looking through settings to try and ensure maximum speed and performance.

one thing we found is "Enable map tile controller" check box is greyed out and we can't untick it.

does anyone know 1) how to untick this and 2) will it have any positive impact on performance

we don't have any workflows with mapping in, so i kind of think it wont make any difference but woudl appreciate any insight

I believe that one worker must have map tile rendering enabled as mentioned here: https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/Alteryx-Server-System-Settings-Deep-Dive-Worker-1583461641746 

Otherwise your users wouldn't be able to use Map Questions and the Map Input tool in workflows. If you don't have any workflows using mapping functionality this shouldn't be relevant.
