Migration Prep Tool - can you run it more than once?

Question

Does anyone know if you can run the Migration Prep Tool twice successfully? The first run would be to see how long it runs and to confirm it runs successfully. The second run would be within 1 day of the upgrade to follow the FAQ response below?

"There are no time limits, but the longer you wait to do the upgrade while your users are modifying workflows, the more workflows need to be converted in the final steps of the upgrade which is during your maintenance window. Therefore, your overall downtime might be longer. Ideally, run the upgrade within a day of finishing the Migration Prep."

I'm not sure how to schedule the upgrade with a big unknown about the duration and success of the database migration.

You can run it as many times as you'd like. Keep in mind that when you run the Alteryx Server installer, it also will run its own data migration process also. All you're doing is giving it a head start to avoid the upgrade/install from taking longer.
