Formula is not working ( Left, Len)

Hi Team,

I want to apply the formula =LEFT(AC12,LEN(AC12)-6) in Alteryx but it is not working, could you please help us to set the formula.

The formula seems to be working for me. Can you share the workflow you are using? It might be easier to debug from that what's the exact issue.
