Alteryx String Output is general type in Excel

Hi there,

I am having issue on the output format in Alteryx.

Input file - Excel .xlsx
output file - Excel .xlsx

I find the output field with any type of String (e.g. V_String etc) it will regard as general type in excel. I can see there is a yellow warning that indicates the cell stored as text, but it is still general type not text. But if the input file change to CSV and output still excel .xlsx format, even it looks similar in the excel, but it will be regard as text in my excel reader(seems some different in the backend). Just wondering does anyone know this tricky thing? Is there a way to let excel regard it as text instead of general?

I believe you posted something about the Numeric value in the Excel, which may help this one. 😂
