Date Time help

I have a file that shows a date and I have a formula that looks at the date and the dates is between 2 timeframes then the formula would assign a column name to represent the month. Example if the date is between 2022.12.31 & 2023.01.31 it would show "1-23". I have tried several times to get this to work but I cannot. I tried using the date time tool to convert to a real date instead of string and then just left it as a string also. I know this is simple but need some help with this to point me in right direction.

It looks like you didn't select the correct format in the DateTime tool? Since it's not one of the available formats, it should be a Custom one: yyyy.MM.dd

After that I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but this will get your dates into the right format and you can use any DateTime functions to get it into what you need!
