how to successfully run when input is being used by another user

i'm trying to run the alteryx to get the output but getting an error that the input is being used by another user

It's all about how your team set up the rule for file editing and sharing.

Your team have to keep at least two file copies, one copy is for multi-user editing, the other is the file copy saved as Read Only for sharing after each editing. So each user can use Alteryx to input the read-only file copy without any error message.

@markdagooc if it is just a static excel file then regardless of the user state that error will occur as long as the file is open
