I recently moved from a 2019 version of Alteryx to 2021.4.2.35356 and now my workflow will not update existing Sharepoint items. I can successfully append items to the existing list, but cannot change data in the items that are currently there. A big part of my workflow is to look compare items that are in Sharepoint and in a current version of an Excel file and then to change the status of the item to closed for ones that are not in both places. This worked perfectly in the 2019 version of Alteryx but is not working in the new version. For some detail, there are 3 Sharepoint output tools all of which perform different functions in the SP list, and I have hold until done tools inserted prior to the SP tool. Below are the troubleshooting steps I have taken previously:
- Disabled AMP engine
- Updated the SP list version to 2016 for all input and outputs
- Run the WF with only the SP output tool that appends items to the list and then re-run it with only the update tools active
- Enabled the Amp engine and did the double run again
None of the above updated the items in SP.
