Alteryx Designer / Engine

Question

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to just download 'AlteryxEngineCmd.exe' or just the Alteryx Engine. Additionally, if this would still be able to run via command line?

Purpose of this is to try and run this type of process on a virtual machine.

EDIT: This assumes the usage of an Alteryx desktop Automation license

I am actually already able to use alteryx via command line with just the Desktop Automation license.

My question is about trying to install just the alteryx engine such that I can continue to run my flows via command line.

I think you may need to have a server license to run via the command line. Last time I tried to look into this topic, that was the answer I came across.

But that was a couple years ago, so I would be interested if anyone else has been able to find a way to do so.
