Tableau Input Error: Tableau Input (124): Failed to process selected datasource

Question

Hi there,

I am trying to use the Tableau input tool and have been able to connect to my companies Tableau but cannot pull data from the tableau server. Below is the error message I get:

Error: Tableau Input (124): Failed to process selected datasource 'OPERATING_STATEMENT_DATA'.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I think it may be a problem with the Table Mapping I used, "table1" which was the default table name I found through a tableau info sheet

I did find a bit of a way in although annoying.  I had the publisher of the data source switch to a Output to Tableau node instead of the Publish to Tableau and name the table which allowed me to tie to it instead of the default "table1" which was causing me errors.

I've consistently had issue with this tool in each iteration. Commenting for visibility as this issue is also occurring with the 1.4.0 version from October 2023.
