Adding record and add more rows for multiple records

HI,

I've created an analytic app to compute the partial call percentage. But i need help where i can input how many records i need to input for the computation and produce multiple rows for the multiple records once its outputted.

Can you help me out on that part?

I've attached the anayltic app workflow for your reference

ive created this like a form type where you could input the value and it give u the computed partial call percentage.

And this work for 1 input/record at a time

What i want to add or enhance more on this workflow is this.

a. ask me how many records do i need to input -- how can i add this

b. once number if record is indicated.. example : 3

c. then now it will let me input the values for the 3 fields in 3 rows

d. then once run is click, it produce me the pdf with 3 records containing the partial call percentage for each record.

I was able to create this project for at a time of imput. but to fully utilize the project, it will be better if i can simultaneous put in/encode in multiple records before i click run to compute

i've edited the workflow but formula and the format of field is not correct. can you double check,? (attached file -output)

Then one last thing, is it possible to put a control at the end to check if my inputted records from the start is the same with my output file?

@caltang this help out. but 2 more things.

1st - the file in my excel file doesn't show the multiple records in 1 page. how do i do that? and another thing the decimal places, i cannot correct them to the correct type ( see attached file)

2nd - can we put a control in the end to make sure if multiple records were inputted; my output and input will have the same number of records

Here you go.

Try to avoid changing data types with Select Tool even though you can. Use a formula / multi-field formula to change the types with a formula so you can control the data type and size better.

@caltang - I've change the test value to test the error message but it doesnt show up. can you send me a screenshot of the change that will prompt the error message? thanks

By the workflow design it will not show up. Because you choose the inputs as ; delimiter, it will always return a count of rows similar to what you input.

So I was not sure why you needed it, but since you insisted, I gave it to you.

That should be it.

i dont think the macro count records will work as i have the earliest version of the app. but thank you for all the help @caltang

Using Join Tool to check is a good way! You've got the concept right, but since I don't have access to your data, I will not be able to confirm the nature of your data.

Just be careful with many-to-many joins, because it can cause some issues with performance and also give you false positives.
