Hi all,

I have a team that is running into this error message (attached) but I haven't been able to figure out what it means. It prevents the workflow from being opened and the team has to go back and recover the file. Does someone know what this error really means in layman terms? Is there a error message data dictionary somewhere that will tell me what all the error messages mean? Thanks.

In plain English, your file is corrupted. Can't be used anymore.

This happens sometimes and can be a bummer. Please use your back-up file with the extension .bak, and rename it to the workflow's original extension of yxmd.

I have a similar issue but I was able to restore an older version.

However, when I attempt to make edits to the restored version (overwritten), my Alteryx crashes and re-corrupts the file.

Why is this happening?
