How to input .xls files with 2020.4 version (without installing extension)

Hi all,

I'm currently working on an Alteryx project which needs to input one or multiple .xls files in the Alteryx, but due to some limitations the Alteryx cannot be upgraded and no extension can be installed. Do you have any idea about what to do? Thank you.

Office is already installed, how should I use the script convert, it seems that there is no such tool in the Alteryx tool panel.

Maybe you can use script convert all .xls to .xlsx format in Events of Alteryx , the first you need already installed office.
