Server Upgrade Existing Workflows

Question

Upgrading from server version 21.4 to the latest 23.1.  My question is, will workflows previously saved using the old version run successfully on the new version?  Will previously scheduled workflows run on the same schedule?

I understand that users cannot publish to Server 23.1 using Designer 21.4.

we did that upgrade and followed the steps noted in both the migration tool blog and the regular installation guide.

the instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow 👍🏽

Yes, no problems with that.

The pre-upgrade checks are important to make sure your mongoDB doesn`t have any issues that could interfere with the migration. The migration prep tool, on the other hand, is mandatory since the server encryption has changed on 22.3 and the tool is built to support that transition.

Save a backup before and after the pre-upgrade checks and save a snapshot of your server if possible in case you need to downgrade.
