Saving a Alteryx app coming as xml file

HI Team ,

Am saving a alteryx app and while opening the folder am seeing yxwz file like a text file earlier when we double click this file we used to get app interface now i need to click and edit then only open an app interface do you know why this is ?

your system was set to open .yxwz files as notepad documents. edit your default program to Alteryx. Underneath the hood - all workflows/macros/apps are .xml files which can be opened in Notepad (ie as text files).

double-clicking the yxmd file opens the Alteryx Designer for you to run or edit.
the Appalaytics yxmz file on double clicking it will run.

To edit the App analytics you have to open the designer and open it internally.

Thank you all. I changed to default app by resetting so all back to normal now.
