Fuzzy Match Tool Error

Hi,

I am getting an error like "The Node "MatchField" is missing the child node "Style" in my Alteryx workflow when I am trying to run the same using the Fuzzy Match tool. PFA the screenshot below FYR!

Please help me resolve this as I am stuck very badly here!!

I had the same issue - you need to edit the existing match type, and change the type from the edit panel. Then you can discard changes to the previous type, and save the new Custom match style.

I selected some other match style and the error is resolved
but I am not sure how it will exactly work towards my purpose
I want to match Healthcare Pharma/drug brandnames with the raw data from my benchmarks file

It looks like you are trying to match ids? Are they just numbers? Because Fuzzy Matching works best for matching similar strings.

If you are trying to match exact numbers, you might want to try a different approach.

Would you please provide a sample workflow, and your expected result? So we can help you.
