Sample Tool

Question

Hi All,

I am using a sample tool with the below configuration. In the Output I see it adds a null row at the top or is there a blank or white space in Column Employee Code. I'm using Data Cleansing tool before sampling to remove unwanted spaces. But not able to figure out why its adding the blank row. Appreciate any suggestions.

Hi @hemant86

It might be due to many reasons why again the blank row is prompted.

You input might contain punctuation and in the data cleansing tool, you might have removed the punctuations or letters leading to blank records.

Unless, I have the dataset and the workflow setting of yours, it will be very difficult to advise why it is leading to blank records even after the input is filtered for blank records.

Thanks @ShankerV for your response. I'm currently using a filter tool to eliminate empty row. But just wanted to understand why is it doing so. I also cleared all empty cell in input and tried still it was adding a blank row.
