alteryx server , update dropdown based on browse file fields

Hi,

When i use the browse tool on the server and find an excel file, is there a way to update the dropdowns later in the workflow?

Ie my input file will have fields, First Name and Last Name but the server dropdown for a field will not reflect that.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

ie my dropdown here shouldnt say just name, it should refliect all fields in my input 1 file.

Hi @wonka1234, you can join your File Browse tool to the top of your dropdown, which will update the dropdown with the fields from your chosen file:
