Dynamic Input Making single quotes into double causing error

Hello

I have an issue updating a where clause using the dynamic input tool, im injecting a series of concatenated ids from the summarize tool using single quotes for my query to work. 

But for some reason even though my input is coming in as single quotes the dynamic input tool makes them double quotes and the query fails to find anything

I tested it on a regular input tool and it works with single quotes

any ideas why this is happening ?

I don't use dynamic input - I use dynamic input in-db where I'd build the query at a granular level and attach the summarize tool output (after I fixed it by adding a ' in the start and end boxes) to a formula tool and build the rest of the query  and then feed that in along with connection name via dynamic input in-db. That gives you complete control of your query.
