Issue with Shared folder in Alteryx

Hi,

I'm using shared folder to read the files from Input tool and Output tool to create the excel files. My workflow generates no. of files based on a category. I'm facing 2 issues with this,

1. Output tool is taking more time to create files in the shared folder where in local machine it is not

2. When I'm publishing the workflow it is giving below error.

There is no security and I have all the privileges' on the shared folder.

Please help me with this.

Hi,

It will take longer to write to a shared drive because you are writing across the network.  The error you are getting is probably related to the file name you are generating.  Check out this link:
