Cryptic error reading json files from Azure Gen2.

Hi all:

I'm trying to connect to my newly created Azure Gen2 storage container.

I'm using the Azure data input tool, and can connect / see my storage containers and the folders and files.

My IT team have created a .json file and a .csv file.  The .csv file has some errors that my IT team are working on, but the recommendation is to connect to the .json file in the interim.

but as I do, Alteryx throws a cryptic error saying "Expected object or value", see me screenshot below...

But what I cannot find out is what that error means.

Any insights / help would be greatly appreciated.

@prpatel ,  according to the documentation below, " To correctly read JSON files, they must be using UTF-8 encoding without BOM. "

Is that something you can confirm with your IT team?
