Similar to this idea, I think it would be really helpful to be able to search for fields in the dropdowns when using the Sort tool. Having to scroll through all of the possible field names can be a chore if you have 50+

It is like I commented on this other idea link , similar to that idea.
That should be implemented in the select tool and all the other tools with the select embedded, or even in other tools that you can work with multiple fields, like Summarize, Find / Replace and like in this case, Sort tool.
Great idea and a logical enhancement as the size of our datasets continue to increase in size and complexity!

Agree that this would be very useful - especially with a type-ahead approach. As a few folk mentioned - this is a general need across many many tools.
That´s a very neat idea! I always struggle bit with large datasets. Would be very useful in many other tools like Join
