Zen Masters Present: Prepare Your Data for Tableau Conference 2016Zen Masters are known for their mastery of Tableau, as well as their willingness to share their knowledge.  Last year we held a webinar that featured Tableau Zen Masters and Alteryx ACEs demonstrating how they prepare for the Tableau Conference. We’re excited to once again invite you to a new live panel to hear how these Zen Masters and Alteryx ACEs approach projects, prepare their data, and visualize key insights in Tableau, as well as some thoughts on how to prepare for the conference.  Hear from:

  • Anya A’Hearn and Allan Walker on how they applied geospatial and predictive analytics in their work with PATH on the #VisualizeNoMalaria project. You can read more about this project in this article on Venture Beat.
  • There are two main types of Data Densification (Domain Completion and Domain Padding) in Tableau. If you have ever wondered why Tableau is making more marks then there are records, Data Densification is the reason. Zen Master and Alteryx ACE Joe Mako will present on how you can have a better experience with Tableau’s powerful data densification feature with data prep in Alteryx.
  • Craig Bloodworth of The Information Lab has written many applications on how to manage and run Tableau Server, amongst other things. In this session he will show how he uses his Alteryx Gallery macro & Tableau to monitor his Alteryx Server.

Beyond the technical presentations, our panelists will also provide their advice on how to prepare for the conference personally – what to pack, what to look for, and what to expect. How could you say no to learning from four Zen Masters?  Register now and learn the faster, smarter, and Zen Master approved way to prepare for Tableau Conference.

All-star cast for this webinar, I'm really looking forward to TC16 - hopefully it'll be as much fun as Inspire was this year

Jason - it will be great to have you there this year, instead of back at the office creating Twitter sentiment vizzes! (Though that was pretty cool)
