Error with join tool in Apps: string fields can only be joined to other string fields.

Hello everyone,

I having some issue with the Analytic Apps, it shows the message: "string fields can only be joined to other string fields", however when I run the workflow it works perfectly, only when I use the Apps pop up will it show that message. 

Here is a screenshot of my data type, I even change the size to fit each other. I also attach with my workflow, it would be very thankful if it can be solved.

Hi all, 

I just found out the solution is to put a Select tool after my text input, and I change it from String to V_String, it works and Idk why :))
